Used Book Donations

We accept walk-in donations on Mondays and Tuesdays during business hours. Appointments must be made for larger (3+ boxes/bags) donations.

Condition Requirement: We accept only gently used, clean, and marketable fiction books at this time (no writing on pages (unless author signature), broken spines, mold, mildew, stains, or heavy underlining).

  • To ensure our shelves remain high-quality for our community, we operate on a selective intake basis. We will review your items and keep only what matches our needs.
  • Any items not selected for our collection must be taken back by the donor same day (or within 3 days of notification to pick up) or they will be responsibly recycled/donated.
  • For small batches (1 bag), we can review them while you wait, if time allows during business hours. For larger collections, or if time is needed by the staff, please allow 7-14 days for us to curate your selection. We will contact you once we've chosen the items we'd like to keep.

Limitation by Volume: We accept donations of 1–2 boxes or bags per visit, which must be handed off to a staff member.

  • We require appointments for large donations (e.g., more than 3 boxes or full estate collections).
  • We encourage donors to bring books in boxes or bags you do not need back, and that can be recycled/disposed of.

Item Restrictions: We do not accept encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines, non-fiction, or damaged items.

"No Return" Policy: Once donations are accepted, they become the property of The Wicked Press.
